Here's an exercise to boost your powers of concentration. Every day, observe one object that you find pleasing, beautiful or amusing. For example, each time you visit friends, make it a point to notice something in their home and observe it carefully. Once back in your own home, try to visualize it and write down as detailed a description as possible. Mention it to your friends. They will be delighted you noticed.
