FANS CAN VOTE FOR HOOPS AWARD

Women's basketball All-American Nneka Ogwumike is one of 10 finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which lets the public help select the winner. Fans can register their choices through March 18 either on the award's Facebook page or at seniorclassaward.com.

Fan votes are combined with media and coaches' picks for the final result. The award honors Division I seniors who demonstrate notable achievement in four areas: character, classroom, competition and community. Ogwumike, leading the Pac-12 in scoring and rebounding through Stanford's first 18 games of the season, is among the candidates for a variety of national player of the year awards.

WOPAT NAMED ALL-AMERICAN

Sophomore middle blocker Carly Wopat has been honored as a first-team All-America selection by Volleyball magazine. Wopat, who received All-America honorable mention from the American Volleyball Coaches Association, led the Pac-12 in blocks per set (1.63)—she was second nationally. The Cardinal went 22-8 and finished No. 14 in the national rankings, after losing in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
