Speedy halfback Bryce Love spent the first several games of Stanford’s football season running through, around and away from opposing defenders, compiling historic rushing totals that included a school-record 301 yards against Arizona State. Although an ankle injury kept him out of one game in October, Love, ’19, was listed in the top three on many national experts’ lists of Heisman Trophy candidates.
