The Weenies may have bested us on the gridiron this year, but on the water it was a different story. On November 17, days before the 112th Big Game, the Stanford sailing team met rival Cal at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. The Stanford boat, skippered by Cole Hatton, ’11, prevailed in two of three races to claim the fifth “Big Sail” win for the Cardinal in six years of competition. Proof that the “winds of freedom” blow all the way to the Bay.
