The February 22 women’s basketball game against Arizona included musical encouragement from the Band and featured a guest saxophonist: Marc “Shades” Tessier-Lavigne. The Stanford president joined the melody line, and senior forward Alanna Smith struck the perfect note with a game-winning three-pointer in the final minute.
