Tayo Amos, ’14, stands tall onstage beside best supporting actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence during the 86th Academy Awards in March. The 21-year-old was one of six aspiring filmmakers chosen to represent Team Oscar and deliver the coveted gold statuette to celebrity presenters. The experience, Amos wrote in a message to the Academy, “validated my dream and passion to be a film director.”
