Graham Spencer, ’93, MS ’94, helped start JotSpot, which allows customers to build the collaborative websites known as wikis. Jawed Karim, MS ’07, is credited with helping to birth YouTube, the popular video-streaming site. . . . Matilde Nino-Murcia, professor of radiology at the Medical School, has won the Inspirational Immigrant Professional of the Year award from Upwardly Global, a nonprofit that helps immigrants and refugees build careers in the United States. Born in a rural town in Colombia, Nino-Murcia immigrated in the 1970s.
