There has been a gas station at the corner of Campus Drive and Serra Drive since the 1960s, but soon no longer. Campus Valero will close this spring to make way for renovations of the intersection, including construction of a roundabout to improve traffic flow and safety. “I want to thank the Stanford community for its loyal patronage over 46 years,” station manager Esther Jenkins told Stanford Report. She said the owners hope to reopen in a new location.
