Five students and young alumni are among the 43 Americans awarded 2005 Marshall scholarships: Sheena Chestnut, ’05, Tarun Chhabra, ’02, Ross Perlin, ’05, Joe Shapiro, ’03, and Clara Shih, ’05. Each will receive approximately $60,000 to cover two or three years of study at a British university of their choice. Alex Greninger, ’04, and Mike Solomon, ’05, each earned $25,000 Mitchell scholarships for a year of study in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
