No one's quite sure how it originally got here, but like many East Coast transplants, Sciurus carolinensis, the Eastern grey squirrel (particularly the black-furred variant), has flourished on the Farm with its abundant sunshine and, ahem, no shortage of nuts. Provided, that is, the critters can avoid the traffic.
