While those poor Ivy League schlubs are still digging out from spring storms, the Stanford campus and surrounding foothills are bursting into bloom. The Farm is home to more than 40 species of native plants including California’s state flower, the golden poppy, which—like generations of students—thrives in the abundant sunshine.
