A record number of voters from the Stanford community turned out to cast their ballots in February‘s Super Tuesday primary. By mid-afternoon, the line outside the Graduate Community Center stretched down Escondido Road and wait times topped two hours, largely due to a shortage of official ballots. According to an exit poll conducted by the Daily, Democratic voters overwhelmingly favored Sen. Barack Obama, while campus Republicans gave their love to Rep. Ron Paul.
