The first cohort of undergraduates in the Stanford in New York program—11 juniors and 9 seniors—will arrive in the city this fall for a one-quarter immersion that will include a combination of coursework, internships and field trips. Students will live in the St. George Residence, a former hotel located in Brooklyn Heights, a short walk from the Brooklyn Bridge and the Promenade. Recently renovated, the building features an 8,300-square-foot community center with a communal kitchen, library and screening room.
