Is your local newspaper giving short shrift to Stanford sports? Now there's a new way to follow your favorite Cardinal teams. If you have a decent computer with Internet access, you can hear KZSU radio broadcasts of more than 200 basketball, baseball, volleyball and football games this year.

Working with Dallas-based AudioNet and the University's athletics department, KZSU is transmitting its signal via the world wide web (http://www-kzsu.stanford.edu/zoosports/). That's how Richard Dibon-Smith, '61, listened to a live report of November's Big Game. Smith, who lives in Toronto, says his two teens "were upset because they couldn't use the phone or computer for three hours." But he was happy to hear the play-by-play because "we were laying a good one on Cal."
