The Leland Stanford Junior (pause) University Marching Band has been suspended indefinitely pending an investigation of vandalism of the old Band Shak.
Shortly after the Band moved to its new home near the Avery Aquatic Center, between $30,000 and $50,000 in damage was done to the trailer near Encina Hall that LSJUMB had occupied for four years. Members of the Band are believed to be involved, and at press time both the University and the Stanford police were investigating.
