A Burrito a Day . . .

By his own reckoning, Steve Jurvetson has eaten a chicken burrito “every lunch that I’ve had a choice” for the last three-and-a-half years. To the 31-year-old venture capitalist, bigger -- and spicier -- is better. Most days, Jurvetson does a quick round-trip in his black BMW from his office in Redwood City to El Grullense and then chows down at his desk at Draper Fisher Jurvetson. When he’s not wrapping up deals such as the sale of Hotmail to Microsoft for a reported $400 million, he can be found at early morning power meetings in Buck’s, a VC hangout. His order: you guessed it -- breakfast burritos.
